Since there is a lot of information on diets and people don’t really know whom to trust any more, here I am going to try and explain what are the negatives to a balanced low calorie diet and why you don’t have to go an starving diet to lose weight.

The main problem with most low calorie diets is that you will gain the weight back when you do go back to your regular eating schedule! There are a lot of reasons for this. So lets talk about how your body works and how you lose weight.

The simple’s math is that you need to burn more calories than you intake. So if you are burning 2000 and eating 2200 you gain weight, but if you are taking in 2200 and burning 2500 you lose weight.

You know how there are some people who just eat and eat and eat, and don’t gain a pound. I know we don’t like them, but the reason for that is, is because their metabolism is use to burning more calories.

The negative to a balanced low calorie diets is that you will most likely slow down your metabolism. Even though you are going to lose weight, you will most likely gain it back with extra few pounds. The fact is to lose weight; all you have to do is speed up your metabolism.

To do this, you need a diet plan that will let you eat all the food you like, but in certain order speeding your burning calorie rate. There are a lot of diets, such as Calorie shifting diet that does that for you. With this diet plan, you consume the food that is going to speed up your metabolism, but at the same time, when you do go back to eating regular food, you don’t gain the weight back, because you never slowed it down in a first place.

You know how everyone recommends to exercise? That is because exercise speeds up your metabolism. That is where the key is! So I hope I was able to explain what are the negatives to a balanced low calorie diets.
